Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 ½ T baking powder
- 1 t sugar
- ¾ t salt
- ½ cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 cup half and half
- ½ T butter, melted to brush on top
Directions:
- Whisk together dry ingredients
- Cut in butter until they’re in pea sized pieces
- Add the half and half and mix until it just comes together
- Pat into a rectangle, fold and pat again into a rectangle ¾” thick
- Cut 2 ½” round biscuits and place on lined baking sheet
- Bake at 450° for 12-15 minutes
- Brush immediately with butter and top with flaky salt.
