Cheesecake

Crust Ingredients: 

  • 1 ½ T sugar 
  • 3 cups graham cracker or oreo crumbs 
  • 1 ½ sticks melted butter 

Crust Directions: 

  1. Mix together and mold to the bottom and sides of a 12-inch springform pan.  

Filling Ingredients: 

  • 24 oz. packages cream cheese, softened 
  • 1 ½ cups sugar 
  • 4 eggs 
  • 24 oz. sour cream 
  • 2 t vanilla 

Filling Directions: 

  1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. 
  2. Add eggs one at a time and mix. 
  3. Add vanilla and mix well at low speed. 
  4. Add sour cream and mix. 
  5. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes or until lightly golden brown with a water bath. 
  6. Cool.

Topping Ingredients: 

  • 1 pint sour cream 
  • ¼ cup sugar 
  • 1 t vanilla 

Topping Directions: 

  1. Mix together and spread over cooled cheesecake. (I don’t always use all of this).
