Ingredients:
- 2 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 t vanilla
- 5 cups flour
- 1 t salt
Directions:
- Cream the butter and sugar together until fully incorporated.
- Mix in eggs 1 at a time.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Gradually add salt and flour until fully combined, do not over mix.
- Roll out the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Roll the dough out more until desired thickness.
- Cut out shapes and refrigerate for 10 minutes to 1 hour.
- Bake at 350° for 8-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. (time depends on size of shape, but average sized cutters take about 8-12 minutes).
