Ingredients:
- ½ cup oil
- 2 small or 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 large cans of tomato paste or 5 (12oz) cans
- 4 cans of water/per can of paste
- 2 teaspoons of salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- 2-3 packets of sweet and low (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
Directions:
- Saute onions in oil until lightly brown.
- Add tomato paste and 7 cans of water – up to 8-9 with 5 cans of tomato paste. Stir well until tomato paste is well diluted.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a rolling boil.
- Turn down to medium and cook 1-1 ½ hours.
Notes:
- May add a couple cloves of garlic if you prefer.
