Ingredients:
- 5 ½ lb. leg of lamb, tied in netting
- 20 cloves garlic
- Garlic powder to taste
- 10 fresh rosemary sprigs
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°.
- Cut 20 deep slits evenly spaced around the leg of lamb without cutting the netting.
- Stuff a garlic clove into each slit.
- Rub garlic powder over the lamb.
- Place rosemary sprigs under netting evenly around the lamb.
- Place lamb in the roasting pan.
- Roast for about 2-2.5 hours or until it reaches 130°.
- Cover in foil and rest until 135° before carving.
