Ingredients: 

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple in pineapple juice 
  • 2 habaneros, seeded and diced 
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced 
  • ⅓ cup sugar 
  • seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, cilantro 

Directions: 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat on medium high heat until boiling, stirring occasionally. 
  2. Reduce to a medium low  heat for about 15 minutes until it begins to thicken. 
  3. Cool before serving. 

Notes: 

Add a cornstarch slurry after reducing the heat if you want a thicker sauce.
