Ingredients:
- 4-6 short ribs (bone in)
- 1 T butter
- 2 T coconut aminos
- ⅓ cup red wine
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 2 cups water
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 3 T sugar
- Seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning
Directions:
- Pat dry short ribs and season.
- Sear short ribs in a dutch oven (or pot) on all sides.
- Deglaze the pan with coconut aminos and red wine.
- Add the rest of the ingredients with more seasoning and let simmer for about 4-5 hours or until fork tender.
