Smores Dessert

Ingredients: 

  • ¾ cup brown sugar 
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 t vanilla 
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 
  • 1 ¼ cup flour 
  • 1 t baking powder 
  • ½ t salt 
  • 1 jar marshmallow creme 
  • 1 cup chocolate chips 

Directions: 

  1. Mix butter and brown sugar until fluffy. 
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla. 
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, graham crackers, baking powder, and salt. 
  4. Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture until combined. 
  5. Split the dough in half. 
  6. Press one half of the dough into a greased 8×8 pan. 
  7. Spread the marshmallow creme evenly over the dough. 
  8. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the marshmallow creme layer. 
  9. Take small chunks of dough and put them over the chocolate chips. 
  10. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.
