Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup neutral oil
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 T melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 T butter, softened, optional
- 2 T honey, optional
- Flaky salt, optional
Directions:
- Whisk together dry ingredients.
- Add wet ingredients to the bowl and stir until combined.
- Pour and spread in a greased 9×9 or 8×8 pan.
- Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Immediately spread on softened butter and honey and top with flaky salt (optional).
Notes:
This can be doubled and put in a 9×13 pan.
